Some of the houses' history
The house was built in 1900. The owners at the time worked for the railroad and the brothers built the house and the 5 neighboring houses for their family. Only 2 of the houses are still standing. The property also had a carriage house to keep the horses in and a barn. Both buildings are long gone, and both foundations are still visible. The house was one of the first residence in the town it is in. For long time it was a single family dwelling then at some point the upstairs was turned into an apartment. Also the prior owners of the residence ran a styling salon on the main floor. Through the years there has been many additions to the house and at the time of this writing is undergoing some remodeling
This investigation is ongoing at the time of this posting
So far personal experiences include:
unusual EMF readings
shadow movements
dogs refusing at times to go into certain rooms
dogs growling and barking at seemingly nothing
small items being thrown
items moving on there own while watching them
(Greg) while lying on a bed (facedown) had the feeling of somebody sitting on his legs, he thought it was one
of the dogs jumping up on the bed. At the same moment Jody heard and looked at the area in
question and didnt see anything.
Both Greg and Jody saw a heavy coat laying between a bed and a wall look as if all of sudden being sat on.
Computers suddenly turning on and the sound of the keyboards being typed on.
T.V. turning off and on by itself
EMF readings peaking in response while asking questions
a lock on the bedroom side of door ( a small eyebolt attached to frame and a hook attached to door type) has been witnessed twice by Greg and once by Jody as "unlocking" with no external explanations.
A distinct odor of what was described as "chinese food"
Some of the EVP's we recorded during a recent session
I would like to note this whole EVP session ,Jody and Tennie had the EMF meter on and it went off spiking almost the whole time
This one is unidentified noise (looped 10 times)
This was recorded a few minutes later You can hear a "bark" , Then another bark (by the dog named Daisy), then a sort of growl sound
This next one is a distinct growl
Although the family has 4 children in the house hold ages between 12-18, non of the family members are distressed about the situation and at the most find it an annoyance if anything.
We at current time were unable to capture any video or digital still evidence.
