Investigation
This Investigation was more of a training session with our 2 new members to get them acquainted with our techniques and our equipment.
This site is a county park.  It is the old home site (circa: mid 1800's) of "Pat"  consisting of the cabin they lived in  and a mill  built from the river rock.
We split into 2 teams.  Jody and Danny took the cabin area and mill area  and Devin and I took the outer perimeter of property.  We set the camcorder up on a tripod in the cabin in a stationary position. Also took thermal readings inside cabin.

Analysis
We believe we captured 2 EVP (both from Jody's and Danny's team)   We didn't get any pictures. or video's. Thermal readings were at about 44-46 degrees  Identified one spot at  37 degrees.  We are still analising my teams DVR.

Team Journal
We had a couple of personal experiences on this trip.
The first one I had, while taking EMF readings and voice recordings on the north side of area  my EMF spiked then went back down to base reading. (there is no electrical power on this place and had taken prior readings to get base)  .  As this happened my flash light flickered  multiple  times then stayed lit at about 1/2 power for a bit (about 5 minutes) till going back to full power.

Also while taking Voice recordings our digital voice recorder started to act up-  couldn't get it started very easily  and when finished with investigation couldn't get it shut down very easily.  When taking thermal readings also,  the laser light wouldn't work on my IR thermometer.  When we got home we retested both these pieces of equipment and found them working normally.  Initial analysis of voice recordings shows good signs of EVP's  but we are still going through this teams DVR's to further analyze them.

Jody and Danny's team also had an experience. About 5 minutes after my flash light  incident, They where standing in front of cabin approximately 15 feet from where had set up our camcorder.
The camcorder and tripod was set solidly on a firm base about 2 feet above the ground.  The camcorder fell and landed about five feet from where it was set initially. No one was near the camcorder at the time and wind wasn't blowing or very minimal at best so we discounted both those Ideas, and cam was set up pretty solidly, not quite sure what to make of that.  We lost all recording that was taken before camera fell. Also  this team got some very good EVP's

Team Journal
We set up Video equipment in the cabin along with a DVR.  We then proceeded to walk around perimeter of property doing EVP sessions as we went. About 1/2 way through we started to pick up temp probe anomolies.  The base temp was about 45 degrees and in spots just behind the group we noted a 20 degree drop.  Missi had a quick spike on the EMF meter. We also noted the temp. drop seemed to be in a small area and moving behind us as we went.
After the Perimeter walk we did an EVP session in the mill building and taking still digital shots. No temp anomolies or EMF spikes were noted
We then went to the cabin and sat down and did an EVP session and took digital stills.  Scott had AN extreme Temp anomoly. Ambient air temp at this point was 39 degrees and Scott was recording near 0 temps ( this also coincides with some potential EVP's we are currently analysing)
Had a lot of battery drainage from various equipment and fluctuations of battery strength in other equipment.
(NOTE)
We then decided to try an experiment I've had the idea of toying with. The theory behind this is,  in a lot of cases were paranormal activity takes place, there maybe a lot of "emotions" tied to the event or location or object,  As a guitar player, I know personally that music can be emotionally charged.  Although I didnt have any music "of the time period" for this area, we did put a radio station on country music.  Although we are still analysing the recorded data,  we have found that we have gotten digital stills of mists and orbs and some EVP's while the music was on. We also noted the both EMF Meters spiked the whole time the music was on. We then turned the radio off to check to see if that wasnt the cause of EMF spikes, The spikes continued for approximately a minute then stopped. We then proceeded to turn radio back on but the EMF Meters stayed at the base line reading from then on. We should note that the EMF meters were about 12 feet from radio source the whole time.

Digital Stills from 18 April 2010

The first 5 picture are of orbs. The first 4 have been lightened up a bit to make them more visible.  The last 3 appears to be Mists.
No one was smoking at the time, there was no fog and ambient temp. was between 45 deg. and 40 deg.

We broke into 2 teams, Jody and Tennie(team 1) were assigned the Mill,Cabin and surrounding areas
Greg, Missi, and Scott(team 2) did a walk through in the wooded area and area that was once a camping area

The walk through was for the most part uneventful(estimated distance 1/4 to a 1/2 mile). Investigated what appeared to be a basement foundation made of cement. We arent for sure yet but we think it may have been the toilet facility for when they allowed camping in the park.  We had 2 spots along the walk were all 3 team members felt a chill.  Got a few pictures we think of bright orbs but are still analysing data. Also heard what I though were footsteps in the grass behind and to the right of us. Did a few short EVP sessions as we went. Met back up with team 1 after about an hour.

Final Thoughts

Our team has decided to go back to this location and do some some more investigations. We also use this location as a training ground for new members and to practice equipment use for existing members. We are also thinking of ways to raise funds to help defray cost of restoring the park and the buildings.
